Building

Have you ever driven by a construction site and for the longest time it looks like a big mess but then overnight there's a huge framework for a building?

The foundation takes the longest time.

It doesn't start at the surface. There's a lot of digging deep and pouring concrete, then time to let it cure. Once that's all done, the plans that were made can be set in motion and things change quickly. After that come all the details and finishing touches.

It's no different than building a life.

If you've had plans that ended up crumbling, they only add to your foundation. Dig deep and decide what you want and don't want. Plan accordingly. Continue to work on your foundation. Things may appear the same from the outside, but all the while, you'll be changing. Be patient but persistent and sooner or later your whole life framework will appear. Details may change or be improved over time, but what will be built is a life true to you that cannot be taken away.
