Finding the Faith

"Faith" is defined as "having complete trust or confidence in someone or something."

Faith is usually tied to religion, or faith in God. When things go bad and you're a good person doing as much as you can but things still fall apart all around you,  this can cause you to doubt your faith or believe you are being tested.

Maybe you are being tested. Or maybe you're in a really bad cycle in life. Or maybe your faith in God is strong and not the problem at all, but your faith in other people or things is misplaced.

In addition to having faith in God, you have to have faith in yourself. Complete trust and confidence. If you are repeatedly being mistreated by someone, know that you deserve better and that change is not going to come from them. Know that you have the power within you to change your circumstances if you believe you do and take actual steps to get yourself out of the place you are in and into much better surroundings. Don't pray powerlessly hoping for rescue. Pray for the strength and courage to move through the discomfort of change to get yourself to that better place. And go. Likely not all at once. You didn't get to where you are in one day and getting to the place you want and deserve to be will take more than one day of commitment and action on your part.

Pray for solutions you can take. Take them.

Be your own answered prayer.

Walk in faith.

Realizing Your Value

Realizing your value in all areas of life is critical to receiving people who will appreciate you. Not knowing or dismissing your value will make you only able to receive those who don’t know or dismiss your value, too.  -Doe Zantamata
